‘Nick’s Ad Chat - Episode 2’

Hi guys, welcome to Episode 2 of Nick’s Ad Chat where we are discussing all things PPC.

Today I wanted to talk to you guys about something that has been really relevant to us recently and that is Facebook Lead Ads. We have been experimenting and split testing with them across a number of different industries and in general the cost per lead has been lower across the board.

For those of you who don’t know what Lead Ads are. They are a type of ad you can select in Facebook Business Manager that allows you to capture leads without having to send them to an external landing page. Sounds pretty amazing, right?

Before you get all too carried away. Things to remember about Lead Ads:

  • Yes it’s true...they won’t require a Landing Page
  • However, unlike with a LP you won’t be able to redirect them to a thank you page to push your next offer.
  • If you are delivering an asset (like we are), you will need to set up an associated automated email to deliver it as you cannot redirect to another page
  • You will need to have an existing privacy policy or create a new one

Today I will go through how to set up a Lead Ad, and the different options you have to customize it. After that I will show you a way to integrate with your Automation software (in this case Hubspot) and make sure your leads are being captured and immediately entered into campaign workflows, lists, etc..wherever you need to go.

  2. Select Lead Generation as your objective
  3. Select your Ad Audience
  4. Create your ads
  5. Create your Form (unable to edit your forms, have to create a new one)

CUSTOMIZING

  1. Include different fields on your forms.
  2. Include a link to your landing page/ homepage
  3. Include a context card - important to tell them about an email
  4. Select Paragraph or Bullet Points
  5. Customize your CTA
