Position Overview

Does planning and implementing website builds or migrations get you totally fired up? Is it a little concerning how jazzed you get about discovering new third-party apps that can help drive website traffic and conversions? Are you just as stoked about designing a website based on a client’s KPIs as you are about driving optimization by digging into data and analytics? Hi, nice to meet you, we have a new role perfectly customized to your passions.

As a Technical Strategist, you’ll have the chance to show off your sharp SEO skills as you come alongside our eclectic clients to build or migrate websites. From URL mapping to UX analysis, you’ll pretty much lead the way throughout every step of the process. And with a role that’s partially client-facing and partially collaborating with your rockstar coworkers, you’ll get to dip your toes in different worlds every day. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take the helm of client meetings to present our offerings, including HubSpot CMS, custom and third-party integrations, and re-platforming
  • Synthesize client feedback and communicate it to internal team members
  • Constantly research third-party applications and recommend appropriate options to clients (based on their specific KPIs, feature requests, and business use cases)
  • Create website migration strategy, plans & dashboards
  • Share your expertise regarding web page architecture and CMS Hub functionality with coworkers as needed, and support dev during the build process
  • Analyze data and integrate it into HubSpot, then use that data to deliver practical marketing strategy recommendations to clients
  • Ensure top-notch products from our dev and design teams through meticulous QA
  • Spearhead website launches and post-launch assessment/troubleshooting
  • Head up CRO strategy conversations
  • Work alongside marketing experts to support their initiatives via smart, custom-tailored website strategies

Experience and Qualification Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of technical SEO and strategy for website migrations (think: URL mapping and meta-data)
  • Ability to strategically collaborate with clients in building and migrating websites
  • Experience in leading internal teams as they build and migrate websites
  • Desire to stay on top of trending native and third-party applications that could be used to drive web traffic and growth
  • Background in navigating CMSs, particularly HubSpot CMS
  • Knowledge of Hubspot themes and modules in the context of CMS Hub
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, databases and HubDB, and how DNS and servers work
  • Knowledge of UI/UX, user flows, and front-end website specifics
  • Exceptional attention to detail and experience in QA
  • Extra credit: Understanding of APIs, data mapping and processing, and DB structure
