Position overview

The HubSpot Consultant helps clients implement, optimize, and improve their use of HubSpot across Marketing, Sales, Service, and Data Hub.

This role combines hands-on platform implementation with practical consulting and client guidance. You’ll work directly with clients to support CRM setup, automation, reporting, lifecycle processes, and operational improvements within HubSpot and connected SaaS platforms.

You are comfortable leading client working sessions, translating business needs into scalable HubSpot solutions, and executing configurations within the platform. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys both problem-solving and hands-on implementation work.

This is a collaborative, client-facing role requiring strong communication, organization, and self-management skills. While this role supports process improvement and operational recommendations, it is primarily focused on implementation, optimization, and client enablement rather than high-level business transformation.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Serve as a HubSpot subject matter expert across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, and Data Hub
  • Lead client working sessions to understand business processes, operational needs, and platform goals
  • Translate client requirements into practical HubSpot solutions and platform configurations
  • Configure and optimize HubSpot portals including workflows, automation, forms, lists, dashboards, reports, pipelines, and lifecycle stages
  • Support clients in improving CRM organization, automation, reporting, and day-to-day operational processes within HubSpot
    Implement and maintain HubSpot solutions that support marketing, sales, and customer success teams
  • Support CRM migrations, data cleanup efforts, and process standardization initiatives
  • Setup of pre-built integrations between HubSpot and other business systems
  • Troubleshoot HubSpot-related issues and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Maintain organized documentation and support high standards for CRM data quality and system organization
  • Communicate technical concepts and platform recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with internal team members to support client deliverables and ongoing initiatives
  • Manage individual priorities and project tasks across multiple client accounts with minimal oversight
  • Stay up to date on HubSpot product updates, platform capabilities, and ecosystem best practices

Experience and qualification requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working within HubSpot, CRM administration, marketing automation, or related SaaS consulting and implementation roles
  • Strong hands-on experience across HubSpot Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, and Data Hub
  • Experience implementing and optimizing HubSpot solutions for a variety of organizations and client environments
  • Ability to lead client-facing working sessions and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience building and managing workflows, automation, reporting, forms, lists, pipelines, and lifecycle processes within HubSpot
  • Familiarity with CRM organization, operational workflows, and process improvement initiatives
  • Experience supporting integrations between HubSpot and other common SaaS platforms
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and self-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Experience working in an agency, consultancy, or client services environment preferred
  • HubSpot certifications across Marketing, Sales, Service, or Operations Hub preferred
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, AirTable, Zapier, or similar SaaS platforms preferred
  • Comfortable troubleshooting platform issues and supporting technical implementations without requiring software development experience
  • Experience supporting CRM migrations, data cleanup projects, or user adoption initiatives preferred
  • Ability to balance client communication, platform execution, and internal collaboration in a fast-paced environment
  • Software engineering or advanced coding experience is not required
