Coleen was born in star spangled San Antonio, Texas into a military family. She did a lot of moving around as a young child, but spent most of her teen life in Forks, Washington. Yes, where the infamous Twilight Series was filmed. However, if you ask her about her home, she’ll point you to Oregon, where she attended the University of Oregon (go DUCKS!) and graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Advertising. Interestingly enough, she originally studied her way into broadcasting, but ended up changing her path completely a few classes before being after to graduate after one life-changing class of advertising. So how did she end up in So Cal?
Six years ago Coleen made the long trek down the 101 with her mom and all her belongings in her car, California Dream in hand, and landed in San Diego. She found her way to Campaign Creators looking for a tight cultured, smaller sized company with an emphasis on digital marketing. With its ever changing technology and constant learning cycle, she truly believes digital marketing is the future of marketing. What she enjoys most about getting to work at Campaign Creators is our adaptability -- we never know what interesting clients and industries will get thrown our way. Each day there is something new to learn.
Something interesting people might not know about Coleen is she was a radio host in high school and college (shout out to 103.9 FM and 104.7 KDUK). She also used to fancy dance when she was younger -- which is part of her culture as a Native American. Her culture is something she treasures and keeps close to her. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys laying out, lifting weights, archery, and binge watching shows. Some of her favs? Billions, The Bachelor, The Wendy Williams Show, and The Handmaid's Tale. She loves coffee, donuts, and is an avid believer that leggings are pants. Also, you pronounce her name Cole-een not Call-een. Or just call her Coco -- since that’s what her friends call her.
