The Marketing Technologist is a mix of a marketing automation specialist and a digital marketer. 

You'll be hands-on, implementing SEO best practices, publishing compelling content, maintaining our database, and building campaigns that deliver results. We need someone who loves digging into the details and making things happen. Duties and responsibilities

  • Content & SEO:
    • Content Creation & Publishing: Build and publish engaging blog posts within the HubSpot CMS, ensuring proper formatting, tagging, and optimization for search engines.
    • Social Media Scheduling: Schedule and manage social media posts across various platforms using HubSpot's social media tools, ensuring consistent brand messaging and timely delivery.
    • Content Cluster Management: Regularly update and maintain content clusters within HubSpot, ensuring accurate topic linking and optimized internal linking strategies.
    • SEO Audits: Conduct weekly SEO audits using HubSpot's SEO tools, identifying and addressing technical SEO issues, keyword opportunities, and content optimization recommendations. Implement on-page optimization based on audit findings.
    • Keyword Research: Assist in keyword research to inform content creation and SEO strategies.
  • Database Management:
    • Database Hygiene: Perform monthly database cleanups within HubSpot, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. This includes deduplication, standardization, and normalization of contact data.
    • Unsubscribe/Bounce Management: Regularly remove contacts that have unsubscribed from communications or have hard-bounced email addresses, maintaining a healthy sender reputation.
    • Form & Workflow Maintenance: Review and maintain HubSpot forms and workflows, ensuring proper functionality and data flow. Communicate any discrepancies or necessary updates to relevant stakeholders.
    • Data Segmentation: Assist in creating and managing contact lists and segments within HubSpot for targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Campaign Execution:
    • Campaign Asset Development: Build and deploy various campaign assets within HubSpot, including:
      • Emails: Create compelling email templates, populate emails with content provided by strategist/writer and manage email sends.
      • Landing Pages: Build high-converting landing pages optimized for specific campaign goals.
      • Workflows: Build automated workflows for lead nurturing, follow-up sequences, and other marketing automation tasks.
      • Calls-to-Action (CTAs): Create and implement effective CTAs to drive desired user actions.
      • Forms: Design and implement forms for lead capture and data collection.
    • Campaign Testing & Optimization: Conduct A/B testing on campaign elements (emails, landing pages, CTAs) to optimize performance and improve conversion rates.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Monthly Performance Reporting: Create comprehensive monthly reports to evaluate traffic, content performance, and overall marketing effectiveness.
    • Campaign Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of individual marketing campaigns, providing insights into key metrics such as website traffic, lead generation, and conversion rates.
    • Marketing Asset Reporting: Track and report on the performance of various marketing assets, including forms, landing pages, and email campaigns.
    • Data Analysis: Analyze marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Experience and qualification requirements

  • Expert-level Hubspot or general MAS knowledge, to the point where it’s almost a little bit scary.
  • You should have completed, or have an eagerness to complete various assigned certifications
  • High technical aptitude – the ability to hop into any new tool or tech and master it like a boss.
  • Great communication skills and able to work with vendors, internal teams and Strategists to communicate insights and tasks.
  • Wonderfully organized. You were that kid in school with the impeccable notes, most definitely.
  • Advanced experience in lead nurturing strategies using marketing automation.
  • Advanced understanding of inbound marketing tactics and the ability to carry out and implement strategies with minimal supervision.
  • Expert understanding of workflow planning, email marketing, analytics and landing page development.
  • Ability to test all completed work for quality assurance at an advanced level and carry out tasks accurately. Minimal mistakes, maximum results.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting technology and editing html/css to complete email and landing page modifications. 
  • Extremely organized and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
