Marketing Project Manager

Then the Marketing Project Manager position at Campaign Creators is perfect for you. This role will be responsible for managing client projects through the entire lifecycle.


Position Overview

You must speak the language of project success and be able to problem-solve technical issues, while providing a kick-ass flow that brings client projects over the finish line. Engineering experience not required.

You are the glue that keeps marketing-related client projects together. You play a critical role in all aspects of Campaign Creators’ success as you help develop, oversee and implement project plans that nurture client relationships and increase project profitability.

That’s no easy feat, and that’s why we’re looking for someone who can walk in the door with a plan. Not only that, you bring a wealth of experience working on Hubspot projects and Lead Nurturing Campaigns, and you’re able to stay agile, stay positive, and of course, keep the trains rolling.

You possess a variety of competencies and are known for strong project management, ability to lead technical teams, and you have exceptional communication skills. You’re also a boss when it comes to multitasking because you’re organized and constantly optimizing your time.

Your success in this role will be determined by your ability to bring visibility into all projects that require support. You’ll enable our production team to focus on their roles while managing prioritization, resourcing, and sequencing of projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a tech-driven project management tool stack, including Teamwork, Invision, Zeplin, and more
  • Agile project management. You’ll plan for and prioritize all deliverables or resources across all projects based on scope of work and marketing goals
  • You’ll QA everything and have ownership over the quality of the final product by ensuring deliverables meet and exceed client expectations. You have a QA checklist that’s so beautiful, we’d frame it on our walls.
  • You’ll handle relationships with external vendors and internal team members working on marketing projects.
  • Vet and hire external talent when needed for projects. You know what’s up.
  • Proactively problem-solve by identifying solutions and coming up with solid plans to manage and resolve any problems that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Run weekly or daily check-in meetings with project owners and relative project team members, making sure everyone has visibility on what’s going down and where things are at.
  • Be ready and able to communicate the progress of a project with clients and internal stakeholders.

Experience and Qualification Requirements

  • Has a proven track record of keeping projects on time, on scope, and on budget
  • Ability to jump in and quickly master any web-based technology
  • Excels at coming up with solutions and conducting independent due diligence to resolve problems and keep the trains rolling.
  • Self-starter who demonstrates autonomy in the workplace
  • Experience working with the agile project management framework and the success stories to back it up
  • Strong written and technical documentation abilities.
  • Good understanding of user experience and the design process including informational architectures, user flow mapping, wireframes, etc.
  • Experience with marketing automation web applications (Shopify, Hubspot, Klaviyo, SalesForce, etc)
  • Enjoys all aspects and challenges associated with enterprise-level projects
  • Ability to work flexible hours coordinating with international teams
  • A self-starter who demonstrates autonomy in the workplace
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like Hubspot and WordPress
  • Project Management certifications, a plus
