Associate Project Manager

The Associate Project Manager supports the the Technical Strategist in delivering tech-related projects (enterprise websites, custom tech solutions, custom software, web-based applications) to meet both Company and Client needs. They are responsible for ensuring projects stay on track, on budget, and meet Campaign Creators quality standards. With guidance from the Technical Strategist, the Project Manager ensures that project costs, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met.

This role requires a high level of communication, organization, and the ability to prioritize on the fly. It is essential that you are able to use technical project management tools as well as create written documentation to communicate requirements to the production team and to the client.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creation of project plans and timelines for tech-related projects such as enterprise websites, custom tech solutions, custom software, web-based applications
  • Management of resources (developers, designers, copywriters, etc) to carry out project plans while meeting scope requirements
  • Quality Assurance and testing of all completed project deliverables with a high attention to detail
  • Development and delivery of information such as meeting notes and project audits
  • Analysis of project data
  • Daily use and management of tools and platforms such as Jira, Google Suites, and Invision
  • CMS Administration (Shopify, Wordpress, Hubspot, BigCommerce, Magento, Laravel)
  • Basic HTML/CSS, Javascript troubleshooting
  • Works with Sales and Technical Strategist to support documenting baseline strategy and scoping for new business efforts
  • Management of working hours relative to project budgets
  • Identification of opportunities for improvements in processes and creation of new project-related processes when needed
  • Maintain required company certifications 

Experience and Qualifications Requirements

  • Strong understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Strong understanding of planning & production processes for tech-related projects such as enterprise websites, custom tech solutions, custom software, web-based applications
  • Ability to quickly learn and manage new platforms
  • Expert level organizational skills including the attention to detail required when juggling multiple priorities
  • Self-directed team player with the ability to drive high performance and work independently or in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving, project management and program management skills
  • Ability to manage change and adjust projects accordingly
  • Ability to interact and influence at all levels and across functions within an organization
  • Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical implementation/execution
  • Strong sense of detail and urgency, with the ability to motivate others to deliver
  • Proficient use of project management platforms such as Jira and teamwork
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
